lost in transmutation

When I was in middle school, I made an “Outfit Log” so I could keep track of what I wore everyday.  The purpose of this is sort of unclear now, but I guess it was so that I wouldn’t be caught re-wearing any given outfit within a specific time frame. Not only was this an “Outfit Log”, but also how I wore my hair, what jewelry I wore, and how I did my makeup.  I kept these logs in a manila folder so that no one could see them or try to sabotage me.

Since I was clearly such a forward thinker, I knew it would be quite an ordeal to rummage through this stack of papers every morning to see when I wore an item last.  This is why I made corresponding “tags” that hung over the hanger.  This way, I would know that I wore my yellow and blue JNCO striped shirt (Yes, I said JNCO. It was a phase. Get over it.) on 11/3/97 and that I could not wear it again until 12/3/97, at least.

God, I was lame.
